Since the start of this week fleets seem to have gotten crazy hard for me, noticeably so. I can't defeat anyone in arena I used to anymore (even weaker fleets without maxed out chimeras with mine maxed out, g12s, full modded etc), can't defeat the fleet battle nodes I once did, seems like its gotten insanely hard for me. Is it just bad luck or is it happening to everyone else?

It is all RNG. That is why Ships 2.0 now ranks as the biggest disaster in Star Wars gaming history. Sony Online Entertainment is now off the hook :)Of course, the root cause is the obscenely bad drop rates on ship omegas that prevent people from grinding up new fleets and lack of new ships. That said, the RNG makes Ships 2.0 extremely painful to play.

Ships are far better now. That is why you see so many different comps. There are Thrawn 2 Akbars 2 Tarkins in my top 10 and a Mace in my top 50. Many use completely different starting ships. Change your setup and use different ships. Many of the reinforcement abilities are really good and when maxed can change a fleet.

I would love to try a different line up, if I could get the resources to do so.

I had such problem yesterday. I faced 2 opponents, both of them had setups exactly like mine, but I had better geared pilots- g.12, while some of theirs were g.11 even g.10. What is more- my Chimaera is 7*, while one of them had 6*. I was attacking and yet i somehow managed to lose 3 in a row. Lost 1 to another undergeared fleet as well. That was insane, some days I feel like the game is toying with me, mby to "keep me interested"?!

You almost got it right. It toys with you to make you spend.

its just seems to got insanely hard for me, won nothing yesterday, day before, 1 match the day before that and so on. Like I said I can't even defeat fleet battle nodes I have defeated before. Just seems really weird, noticeably so. I guess there is an element of chance, maybe I am having a weeks run of bad luck

With the release of the fleet table a lot of people got the ability to fully max 2 ship's reinforce ability. That is what I did and now finish 1-10ish. A lot of people did the same about the same time, so I am guessing that is it.

No I have maxed ships like bobba fett ship etc. with maxed reinforcements. I say I am hitting fleets weaker than mine that I had no problem with last week but can't kill anything.

It could be rng, even with the fleet tables--a lot rides on that target lock sometimes.
