Has fleets got crazy hard for anyone else all of a sudden

Within the last week I finished the last ability slot on my capital ship after harvesting prestige for weeks in Arena Store since ships 2.0 latest addition with Fleet battles. Maybe your competitors have finished as well. It does make a difference. Are all your capital ship abilities maxed yet?

Also, I think there is a Hidden Defense Multiplier added when going against a weaker teams, I often lose to teams 30-60k less than mine, (I'm at 358k) but win more against teams that are 10-15k more than mine.
