Help “organising” squads

Im looking for some advice on progression through the midgame
I’m level 83
These are my squads:
1) Phoenix 7* mostly Omega’d (Sabine on the bench at 5*)
2) Wedge(lead), Biggs, Lando, Ackbar, STH (all 7*)
3) Palps 6* Vader 6* 93/100 Thrawn 7*, TFP 7*, Tarkin 7* (RG on the bench)
4) Scoundrels - Boba 7*, Cad 7*, Lando 7*, STH 7* and....Chewie 5* (yuck)

I’m also leveling and gearing
1) Rancor Team - Teebo 7*, TFP 7*, QGJ 7*, Rex 6* (nearly 7), Fives 7*
2) Leia , FBL, Old Ben
3) SRP, Bistan (Rebel Fleet)

My biggest current annoyance is Chewie who stops me 3* Crit Damage Mod Challenge & I don’t really want to 6/7* him....
Also would these two rebel teams work?
1) Wedge(L), Biggs, STH, Lando and now Leia
2) Ackbar(L), Bistan, SRP, Luke and Old Ben....
Or is there a better combo using them?

Team 1 you listed would be better and works, but Old Ben is a better tank so I would swap him with STH.

Team 2 needs another damage dealer. Bistan is useful but his basic does not hit very hard. His special hits VERY hard, but you need another damage supplement. Even a non rebel would work. Maybe QGJ? Also make sure that Bistan is fastest on that team so he makes full use of Frenzy. Also Sabine would work here. Dont ignore her. Geared properly she can rival Leia for damage and Darksaber is useful many places.

Chewie may not be the best, but he has a useful "general" leadership skill that applys to any team member, so you can use him as a leader for a TW team.

Also for Rebels Chirrut is an easy farm and the best rebel healer. Get him soonish.
