Help Me Pick a Dark Side Team

Yeah, I love the idea of an Empire Trooper team, but that is a long-long-term work in progress. I am sort of the same as you. I love my light side team and wish I could use it for dark side battles.

Based on what you have available to you:

I'd say Palpatine lead, with Vader and Boba. Vader will go back to back to back, so you can take care of a couple enemies that way. Boba's ability block will help keep control, as will Palpatine's stun.

Nihilus would be useful as he can increase cooldowns. But you're hurting on a tank though, you should work RG up a bit more if you're keen on finishing him. Maybe consider Kylo or Savage as a tanky fifth until then. Maul won't be of much help for now, too slow and squishy.

That was super-helpful, thanks! I am 10 shards away from getting Royal Guard to 6 stars, and I can afford to bring him up to level 80 and gear VIII whenever I need to. Once I get Royal Guard up, I will try out that team.

DS battles are literally a joke with DN lead imo. Never failed to 3* a single node on the first try up to tier 8 (im only lvl 81). My problem with other DS teams is there are no healers. Once a toon gets into red health, they're either immediately dead or divine intervention saves them. DN lead will fix that. Here is the team I would recommend

Dn l , sith assassin, savage, Vader, RG

Drain force the first 2 rounds, annihilate the boss right away in the final round. Put every speed mod you have on Sass, sit back, have a beer, enjoy the show
