Hera calling an assist

When I was playing the event today I encountered something strange. When you use Hera's assist ability you cannot target a stunned ally (for obvious reasons), but you are able to select a dazed ally.
When I accidentally selected a dazed ally to assist it did nothing (obviously). Since daze prevents assists, wouldn't it make sense for Hera to not be able to call dazed allies to assist?

It's like this in ships too. It's just a mechanic you have to avoid.

I'm not complaining because it did not affect the battle. It also won't affect me because I don't use pheonix. I just find it to be weird and illogical. Also characters that call a random assist never call a dazed character to assist.
  • Yeah it’s probably because of the cleanse she provides with zeta, wicket for example doesn’t allow you to pick dazed allies for his assist

  • Yea it’s kinda like when Leia is shocked then try’s to gain stealth and it doesn’t do anything you just gotta laugh about it and avoid it after
  • Same with First Order Officer, never target someone dazed to give him turn ^_^ I did it first time I ever tried them, never again *_^

If Hera has a Zeta on the power, the target gets cleansed, so targeting a stunned or dazed character works fine.

I forgot about that, so it would make sense then, but it still doesn't make any sense if you don't have her zeta.
  • They don't program characters for if zeta or if no zeta, so it's prob best they leave the option open.

You can target a dazed ally because other targeted assists have effects other than the assist that might be pertinent. Protection up, crit up, whatever. Hera's sorta does, though it's not relevant.

Actually FOO cleanses the target ally so you can do this :)
