Hermit Yoda on defense

Please no offense, but there's no debate here, a toon that doesn't use his special ability is bugged, period.

Devs made an ability thinking just for raids, so AI won't trigger it at all? This is wrong.

It's a very hard toon to get, since u need a whole guild working together, it's not only about paying for it.

Again, hope for a fix very soon, and devs must say something!

Barris isn’t healing either, which makes it seem like the healers never saw their threshold for using that ability. There is only one turn where a character (CLS) drops below 75% health, and he’s dead before either of the healers take their turn, i believe. Maybe Yoda is waiting to heal based on health pool and not protection as well. Who knows.

Looks like there may be some hope after all.

If you are interested in making raid teams better...why wouldn't you just use your TB currency on buying G12 for teams that are already good in raids rather than hoping HY is a game changer for Jedi? The amount of TB tokens required to take HY to 7 star(to use him in heroics) buys you a lot of G12 gear...I'd rather just do that...especially if some of the characters in my raid teams I G12 are also used in my squad and/or fleet arena teams.

Nobody cares...which is why you don't see threads being posted by level 50s complaining "I just unlocked HY and the bad AI is prioritizing SFFTF over his basic when I want him to use his basic." I don't know if you even realize it but given the method required to unlock HY...he's not even a character lower level players even have access to...and in the time required to farm HY you could already be set up to be zeta farming anyhow.

There is no need at all to balance his AI around lower level play when said AI does not even apply to players in that spectrum because an overwhelming majority of them do not even have access to HY and in the months it will take them to acquire HY...they'll already be out of that low level spectrum.

I have a hard time believing this was even their intent as well. Think about it...with all the TB currency you have to use to 7 star Hermit Yoda...that is a lot of G12 you could have put on your existing raid squads...plus zetas for Hermit Yoda could have just been used elsewhere.

Does it make any sense that if your goal is to improve your raid play that maybe 6 months down the road a 7 star zeta'd Yoda might help your Jedi team that is below average in raids, where as the alternative could have just been to instead G12/zeta characters you already have in raid squads to improve raid performance for certain right now...rather than maybe improve it in 6 months? Seems like an awful expensive and long term investment with minimal, if any return.

@OnEMesSduPKiD I have to disagree about zBarris, I fight her team with Kenobi everyday at arena and yes she triggers the heal.

@Huatimus Teebo had almost 1k of bug reports and took 6 months to fix. One feedback is nothing. Unfortunately....

@GildoMcFlay that doesn't make sense, build a toon just for raids? Not free to play, where take months to at least unlock and u can't fully use him at all areas of the game?

Fellas, it's a toon that doesn't use all his kit, how in the galaxy this can be right, of course is not!

So every high level player that farms Yoda is going to zeta his SFFF special? i think you're vastly over-estimating zeta availability. CLS has the highest % zeta rate of a skill on GG, and it's Binds all things at 69% of all CLS. The next closest is Vader at 56%. Kylo's outrage is the only other zeta >50% applied on a given toon. Maul for example is only 39%. Han is only 33%. Finn is only 45%...and most zetas are well under 20%. The point here is any specific zeta is going to only be moderately applied. Maybe the SFFF zeta will be filled at a high rate, but you can't predict that based on the actual data as it would be an outlier in that case. Yoda's kit is complicated in that his basic is > if there is no zeta on SFFF. You could also argue that since SFFF is a heal, that using the heal aspect before it is needed (meaning in an attempt to keep protection up) that when you REALLY need the heal later and it's on CD that is not necessarily ideal. The uniqueness of that skill is it has equalize + heal ... if you blow that before it's need than all that heal / equalize was 100% wasted. And what about the situation where all toons have full protection but only one has like 15% protection missing? Would you still want him to use the SFFF special? The basic used in many cases will be fine and you don't have to worry about the SFFF special being on CD when you actually need it later.

I think in general, with a few exceptions for Finn or some zetas that are really awesome in raids, people tend to prioritize zetaing their arena squads.

Hermit Yoda AI is only an issue if he is on your arena squad.

So of the people that are actually going to be impacted by bad HY AI...I do think quite a high % of them will have HY zetad at some point, provided his AI gets fixed so its not just a waste of a zeta.

Nah...I don't think I am. Zeta % of total characters mean nothing because you can farm characters faster than zetas. Nobody is going to try to argue counter that point.

Let's do something different. Look at any top 50 squad arena players on your shard. How many relevant zetas(don't really expect them to dump a zeta on a leader skill for a character they aren't using as leader) out of how many potential zetas do they have on their arena squad? I bet ya that would be close to 100%. It certainly is on my shard, and my shard isn't even a year old yet, and again, I think this is another point not many would try to argue.

Even if you just want to look at the meta report...notice how the zeta % for G10 of any given character is higher, often by a large amount, than just looking at total zetas for any given character. Who would have ever imagined people zeta characters they actually use at a higher rate. It would be interesting to see what the zeta rates look like for G12 characters.

Funny thing too, which I'll admit is due to a small sample size at this point, is if you scroll all the way down to the bottom...100% of G10+ Hermit Yoda's are zetad lol.

Guys, it’s simple - they set a precedent for Thrawn, they “fixed” his AI to perform better on defense. I just can’t see why they wouldn’t do for Hermit, who is a much larger character in the SW universe and harder to acquire here. Makes no sense.

Imagine if 7 star hermit yoda becomes a requirement for a new meta-breaker.. but I guess I digressed.
