Highly Abnormal Ship Arena Shard

This is my ship shard. It sucks. I started in July and have spent a few hundred since I started playing (so I'm a dolphin I guess?). I stay top 20 in my regular arena shard, and I put some money into ships immediately, but can barely stay in the top 500. It's really discouraging. There's no way for me to have any chance to ever compete for top ranks here with all these mega players with maxed out rosters. My measly 78k fleet power might as well be 0. I know the rewards aren't hugely different as you go up the ranks, but it takes the fun out of it. This doesn't encourage me to spend more, it makes me not really want to play. I'm basically just going through the motions on ships now so I can hopefully get some zeta matts soon. Between this and the tank raid my guild will never finish it's pretty discouraging.
