As a preface to this post, I'm not making it to garner the sympathy of folks on this forum (although I would appreciate your support if you agree with my conclusion below, if not that is okay as well)...

I have a similar example. I'm top 100 in regular arena. Can't top 2300 in ships. I'm F2P since mid July. Level 82. Can't possibly compete while guild mates are top 10 on their shard
