Save it.
So there have been a couple of suggestions about saving. I'm glad you bring it up again because I can never save because I am always leveling a toon or mod or something. Out of curiosity, do you just save credits for when new toons come out or something else?
As a notorious hoarder, I like to have credits in case an epic mod pops up, and I want to buy it. I like to have credits in case a level cap increase comes, and I need to level a bunch of toons. I like to have a cushion in case an event is announces that requires a full team of characters I don't have geared/leveled. (I was sitting on 100 million before Thrawn was announced, and I had not a single credit sunk into Phoenix) And I like to have credits in case the meta shifts, and I need to retool my arena squad.
And when I do decide to do a project that isn't urgently addressing an immediate need, I like to farm the resources first, then gear/level out of the surplus while leaving a cushion (not just of credits, but gear, ability mats, and crystals too) for all the previous reasons mentioned.
Saving doesn't work well until you have already built an arena team to satisfaction, and a selection of raid and/or event teams. After that is done then you can save. Before that point I was broke constantly.- JacenRoe's last sentence's are so true.
- As they said, save, save, save.
Just spend levelling toons you're gonna gear, no point on having a lvl 85 gear 1 toon, usually make sure you have a good arena team, secondly, if you are in a guild that can do both heroic raids, why invest more on HAAT??? Then start getting mods, get 5 sets at least and then start saving, I sit now on 37M, Phoenix, thrawn and ewoks drained my last 59M credits in a week or 2, since I had 0 upgrades for them, lvl 1 G1. Then I started saving again, I could level my clones, zidader's odds and some more but won't since I don't need them yet, so I can spend the 35M required to 85 a full squad and upgrade up to omega, I save as well gear, purple mats, omegas, Zetas, so as Luke came out I upgraded CLS to 85 put a Zeta on him( the good one), and the one on ben, and as for mods, I don't upgrade anything less than a blue with speed secondary as the lower tiers will give low speed( I have 3 attackers on my team at 100 speed).
Basically don't chase all the time, sometimes it's better to hoard and wait so when you want something, you have it NOW, like getting Luke to gear X the first day and XI in a week, so much help ;-D "Kyno;c-1128639" wrote:
Save it. Just because they give you something doesn't mean you need to make quick decisions right then.
still the same strategy."Jedigunnie262;c-1128647" wrote:
Lvls or mods but don't go crazy spending it. Using this approach I usually sit on 15-20m usually.
I had 30 before luke. Down to 1.xx now lol though I have dumped bout 7 or 8 into my clone squad for our first haat"TofuMao;c-1225226" wrote:

good job, wow"dad2my3;c-1225163" wrote:
I spend it on mods with the hope that I'll get some double digit speed secondaries, and I'm usually disappointed.
I do too but I never see any good mods anymore. I'm now sitting on about 20m credits. I'll spend them if I see something worth it...- I pick a character and take them from 30 to 85.
- I get drunk and tinker with mods for a couple hours. Next thing I know I am broke and my teams perform horribly next time HAAT comes along. It is a strategy thing
- I usually end up blowing my credits on spice... glitterstims mostly.
I kid, Leveling and promoting toons and mods of course. Whichever ones are next on my list.
