How does a team with worse stats get a huge TM advantage at start?

First GA match, against an Ewok mirror team. I thought I would walk it, as I’m all g12 to their g11, and much better speed than my opponent. Somehow his 179 Paploo went first, followed by Logray, and ...

Ok. Think I solved it. The 25% Paploo boost put him even w/ my Wicket. Then he called Logray to assist, who triggered the TM onslaught. Sorry for not thinking it through before starting the thread. Appreciate the feedback.
