Speed and health. That's different. :D I think you could recommend that set combo for 90-95% of the toons in the game and it'd be a solid choice.- crzydroidRetired Hero

A guild mate explained the math, 200% cd is the sweet spot.
A) You deal 100 damage with 170% cd:
1) offense set: 15%, so 115 damage, 170% cd, 195,5 damage
2) dc set: 30%, so 200% cd, 200 damage total
B) You deal 100 damage with 200% cd:
1) Offense set: 15%, so 115 damage, 200% cd, 230 damage total.
2) Dc set: 30%, so 230% cd, 230 damage total.
C) You deal 100 damage with 220% cd:
1) Offense set: 15%, so 115 damage, 220% cd, 253 damage total.
2) Dc set: 30%, so 250% cd, 250 damage total.
If you have at least 200% damage before ‘set’, it’s better to put an offense set. And it doesn’t take into account critical immunity/avoidance.
This is not correct. The 15% increase from the offense set only increases the offense without mods. So even with just the square, you are netting less than a 15% increase in offense. With other offense primaries and with secondaries, you are getting even less out of the offense set. That's why the actual cutoff is closer to 300% CD. - perfidius44Rising Newcomer

Thx, I’ll pass it on ! - crzydroidRetired HeroCrit Damage Up gives 50%.
Offense from leader abilities and such doesn't matter because it's a constant.
The thing that has a real bearing on it is how much offense you are giving yourself from mods.
But I think Kenobi and CAT could hit the threshold even with a lot of offense from mods, because CD is in their Mastery, and CAT is already giving +50% from her unique. So it really depends on how much that Mastery is increasing in raids, especially if you set up a feedback loop of Kenobi targeting characters who target him and they do a cobstant back and forth. - Konju2Seasoned Novicehttps://swgoh.gg/characters/jedi-master-kenobi/data/mods?filter_type=rank_100
- crzydroidRetired HeroFor damage, I want to point out that his Mastery increases critical damage. This may seem counterintuitive, but there is a point where crit damage becomes so high that offense sets are better than crit damage sets. I can't remember the exact math, but I think total CD without the set has to exceed 300%. I don't know how fast you're stacking Kenobi's Mastery in arena to know if you'll hit this, but arena may not make a difference anyway.
For raids you may want the offense set and at least an offense cross if not arrow. If his Mastery is really stacking fast in raids (thinking of a feedback loop of him targeting characters who can then target him), maybe even an offense primary triangle, but to make up that 42% he'd need to be at like 400% of his base Mastery, in addition to about another 85% CD. So triangle CD is probably best. If you're running him with CAT, then you almost certainly could get enough CD to justify an offense set. If no one else is boosting his crit damage, you may have to crunch some numbers on his Mastery. - perfidius44Rising NewcomerA guild mate explained the math, 200% cd is the sweet spot.

Instead, if you switch dc set for an offense set, you lose less, 30%, and gain more, 15%.
- perfidius44Rising NewcomerEdit: I shouldn’t do math at 3 am ^^
Do you have any idea of the bonus given by the critical damage up buff ?
