Annihilate will simply remove 8 stacks of droid battalion. B1 already gets shafted by multi-attacks and assists, because he is not one unit but an army of B1s. He doesn’t also need to be vulnerable to annihilate.

He loses eight stacks. It's in the megathread of the kit reveal.
Edit: clarification was on the last content update notes: https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/194858/content-update-2-6-2019-mega
Which isn't right as annihilate doesn't deal damage (the requirement for B1 to lose 8 stacks, he needs to take damage).
I just tested annihilates "damage" behavior in the sith raid by using STH and Unbreakable Will:
- be sure that raid Nihilus' annihilate is ready
- use STH taunt and get him another turn (BB8 ID, Jyn, FOO, etc.) to let him use Unbreakable Will
- raid Nihilus uses annihilate on STH (no TM gain for my team even though the ability says "all other allies gain 20% Turn Meter when Han is damaged while his Taunt is active" - so annihilate indeed does NOT deal damage)
So annihilate would be a completely wasted ability vs B1. As it has alrdy been pointed out by ppl in the kit reveal thread I really hope that there will be an update on Nihilus' AI to ignore the B1 when annihilate is ready.
