How's cassian for a first chromium pull?

Cassian can lay out the debuffs. Combined with K2S0 (who can be farmed in GWar) he can be very effective, plus they are both pilots for his ship which is amazing. Rogue one is also needed for TB. He's a rebel, which are needed everywhere.

I would say he's a very good first pull.

If he just wants a character that will give him a bit of a head start, Cassian will be good. If he wants the ultimate first pull... That MIGHT be Baze. A couple of others worth pulling out there too.

Can't even remember who i pulled. Starting over endlessly in order to pull a specific toon seems like such a waste of time to me. I've read some of the new player guides, it's amazing the lenghts people go through nowadays to get a leg up.
So my advice is just to take cass, could be worse, could be better. who cares?

Jawa isn't bad because you'll need them for the crit chance mods. You may not use him early game, but it's one less character to farm when you want to start going for the mods.

I think I got you beat though.

I got Jedi Knight Guardian on my chromium, but I had progressed too far, so I figured I'd spend a little money and buy another chromium hoping to get another character and I got...10 Jedi Knight Guardian shards.

I was furious.

My chromium pull was Poe. Only got him up to useability somewhat recently and then almost immediately abandoned him because I got JTR and he doesn't work that well with her. lol

Kassian is a great toon, but also an easy farm.
Baze, however, us even better and a MUCH slower farm.

Also baze created psychological distraction.. enemy will think twice before attack u

Baze is a slower farm, but at 4* he's better (with chirut) than any tank out there (except general kenobi) even if the other tank is at much higher stars and gear level.

By the time he can farm baze, he should already be getting top payout in arena.

DN is also a very good pull, but unless you want to buy his shards, he wont be hard to beat down at only 4*.

Other characters can pretty much all be garmed early in the game, and I'm afraid to say that any gear you put on them early on including cassian is a waste. Later in the game when you have more access to gear, you can farm who you want. Cassian gives you zero advantage in arena early game, mid game or end game

cassian is from squad arena shop. he is very easy to farm. Not to mention he unlocks at 3 or 2 stars so your buddy might have got just 25 or 50 shards of him. I'd say that is a bad pull
I personally didn't do that thing but if yoir buddy is willing to spend some time creating multiple accounts to get a head start, do it again till he/she gets Baze unlocked. Other characters are not as good. Including Nihilus.
