You said you know how it works - but you didn't - crzydroid was giving you the answer.
There aren't many ships that can apply buff immunity but its just about the only way to deal with HT if you can't get rid of breach.

Also, boba's ship has a nuke that ignores protection so that can also work to get rid of HT.
