My guess is with a 7star Fulcrum, your other squads can claim the top spot.
I ran a Suicide Old Ben Squad for a while when Wiggs was the Meta, was fun. Worked great on Defense initially. Was uber fun on offense when target's Raid Han killed Ben with his First Strike.
Problem is after a while it became horrid on Defense, after players faced it a few times. Especially when Boba Fett became popular. Old Ben Dies... Then Fett kills whoever he targets.
With R2, it will be nice on Offense... A slightly more durable version of Old Ben would also work well, He would take a few hits to kill and might get off his special. On defense however, would R2D2 stealth all but Old Ben?
