I did it because I saw more potential in Anakin long-term than Eeth. I knew it would be tough.
Getting him to 6* was tougher: 150 shards in 1 month. I assumed 100 in 1 month would be signficantly easier given an average drop rate should mean 3 per day. We'll see.. :)
