I missed the Rey train now what?

Meh... There are viable dmg alternatives depending on what you're trying to do. I do fine dmg in raids and have a top 10 pvp squad without her.

Just wait for the nerf.

You can start farming shards in the guild store, she is there regularly. I didn't have her unlocked back when guilds were introduced, and now I have her at 6 stars.

But even without Rey there are solid choices for your team, Rey is simply the highest damaging, but also most squishy.

GS is a great replacement and easily farmable in Cantina.

Well. She is pretty much the best. That foresight is key to keeping her alive.

Otherwise. Yea. All the damage dealers are fairly equivalent.

11/12 battles in GW now have Rey, join the club! Doesn't take that long with guild shipments and 4 nodes.

I started farming Rey after the guild update, you can buy a lot of shards from guild store, and there are 3 Hard Nodes for her shard as well. It's much easier to starred her now.
My Rey just reached 6* today.

Depending on how fast the raids go and how frequently she appears, she's arguably faster than Cantina or Arena shipments in some cases. You can get fifteen shards in one day, whilst saving up for another five the next day!

Hmmm. I didn't realize she was falling that frequently in the shipments. I will keep an eye out. 15 / day is much better than the 8 I was estimating. (3 hard mode, 5 from guild store).

Some days she is in multiple shipments. Other days she's not there at all. My guess is that you can get like 20-25 shards weekly from guild store.

It's never too late to farm a character. I started farming her once raids started. She's about 30 away from 7*. I use her in arena and GW. I can't wait to use her in raids.

As was pointed out, there are several alternatives to Rey. I say go for all of them, over time.
