I missed the Rey train now what?

Oh yeah, and my first 6 guild shipment purchases were for Jawa Engineer. Then I decided to switch to Rey simply for her damage in raids. I didn't think she would touch my arena lineup. Lol was I wrong. I started using her once I got her to 5*. At 5* she does more damage than most toons in the game. I couldn't leave her in overnight, but on offense, she was exceptional, even at 5*. And I'm on a day 1 hard release server.

I farmed her in 5 weeks from zero shards since I've unlocked her LS/DS battles and saved for whenever her Shard appears in the Guild shop (did not use any refreshes).

You didn't miss the Rey train my friend. She was my fastest toon to get to 7*. I had a streak of good luck refreshing guild shipments and took her from 5* to 7* in about a week. Not saying you would or wouldn't get her that fast also but it wouldn't take months if you're saving raid currency.

All your comments are in line with what I am experiencing. A very fast and easy farm for a hard node only toon.

Also to the dudes comment; I also famed JE first. Then after he was 4* I switched to farming gear because seemed more important. I gave up on Rey because of the need for gear. And it's that same time I wrote this post.

I have found this post - and my guildies - to be very helpful and a reminder that Rey is just so worth it.

Put her on cruise control. 88 86 GS all as good if not better due to ease of farming.

Gear. Not shards. Is endgame.

What rank are you my friend? I question that tactic. While I agree gear not toons is the end game answer; I question that with out the right toons you can truly compete In arena.

I am one of two in the top fifty not running Rey or JE. So yes there are anomolies but it is not the norm. Of those toons you mention what do you use and what arena rank are you? Please provide squad.

I agree. Rey takes a lot of purple thingies. So it is not just the raid gear. I am farming her with 5 hard nodes a day, and that is fast enough!
