Full R1 definitely works in arena. Doesn't do well on defense for me but nothing does on my leaderboard.
I have tried different variations, haven't tried with Srp and I not confident that with Nihilus around that it will do that well.
Jyn zeta lead with cassian, K2, Chirrut Baze seems to work the best.
I have tried dropping K2 for gk and even Sabine today. As much as people down on K2 IMO he is vital to the teams survivability. He counters so much and is always taunting and spreading offense down he is normally the one to take Nihilus annihilate if Nihilus even gets to use it.
Jyn zeta lead you need for the protection recovery which goes back to keeping K2 alive and around as a punching bag. He can recover 15% every time he takes damage if it is a crit hit.
Cassian is needed to take advantage of the multi expose part of Jyn lead. Baze can put up multiple exposes with some set up, converting hots to dots but cassian is going to be doing it on regular basis with both his specials.
Baze and chirrut. Chirrut needed for all the hots, cleanse and damage. Baze to protect his buddy and to also dispel opponents.
With all the dodge teams I have been running all except jyn with accuracy arrows. I have some good speed secondaries.
A problem has arisen with this. Unless I change the arrows back to speed I can't beat Rex L, gk, Baze, Chirrut, Nihilus. There is only a few of those so I have a differ team on standby I use for them.
It is definitely a fun and synergized team and they all have some different places in the tank raid to help you there.
I started running in arena with Max gear. K2, Baze 7*, jyn 6*, Cassian 5*, and chirrut 4* and they did very well.
They can be run with a lower star Baze but with lower star Baze probably need more on chirrut to help with the health loss.
Edit: My guild leader @RJ__Brando also just started running them in arena and can give some more insight.
