IG-86: Why?
IG-86 is terrible. So terrible, in fact, I refuse to promote him. GA benefits aside (but not ignored), there's an argument to be made that you should simply collect his shards, without promoting him...

Yeah but you don't have to promote anything.
I could take mine to 7* and still have enough shards to almost do two more full IG86's from scratch to 7* again. But I'm not going to. Because he's terrible. And he knows what he did. And he needs to learn from it. And he'll never learn if I promote him. You don't reward mistakes, you teach from them.
