That sounds good. Being sub-500 is really good for level 58. Just keep focusing on whatever team you're farming and you'll be fine. But be warned - top 50 really isn't possible unless you spend money. Fleet arena is a different story, though. Focusing on ships is so helpful, since you can get top 50 easily, and if you're in a good guild doing Geo TB sometime, you can get Malevolence/Negotiator, which will let you get top 5 or 10, or even #1.

I would thoroughly disagree with that. It just takes one competitive meta team to get in to top 50, which can be done as f2p. If once you get to that point you find your shard chat, it's easier. But I'd agree a good route is to try and do well in ships, as that will get you the crystal income to help with your arena team.

As for ships i skipped a bit Phoenix having 3 Geos and saving green gems for ship buying. We 'll see.

IMO the best route is to go for Geonosian ships.

My bad @crzydroid - I meant it’s not going to happen right now where he’s at, level 58. At this point it’s going to be hard to compete with the hyperdrive users. But later in the game, after level 85, definitely doable. Should have clarified that, sorry.

Oh yeah, absolutely not. If you want to fast track, you're looking at hyperdrive.

But if you're in this for the long game, know what you're doing and are dedicated and in a good guild, it's possible f2p. It just may take months to 1 year+.

Yep! Being in a good guild is key. I also 100% agree with what you said about working on fleet arena, then using those earnings to improve squad arena and other areas.

Players who buy the hyper drive bundle are taken to level 85 instantly. However, I doubt you'll see hundreds of players who bought it on the same shard (not impossible, though). For other players it's a race to reach level 85 as quickly as possible after joining the shard through normal play. Do all dailies every day and collect/buy/burn as much energy as possible to gain extra exp. The faster you level up the faster you unlock new game modes, new tiers of challenges, new nodes on campaigns etc. for extra income of resources. For every day you miss some exp. you lose a step in that race.

@culealex this is an old post from 24th May lol, second yea it's been established that below a certain place in arena you 'll find a lot of 85lvl players who bought HDB.

@Waqui i must be really unlucky if hundreds together at the same moment bought hyperdrive.
I do all dailies from day1 i started plus i buy energy very often. But literally when my rank in arena goes below 500# and i refresh, 70% are 85 lvl, 25% 10-12 lvls above me and only a 5% 2-3 lvls above or equal to me. It's really strange.
After the update it's like i changed lvl of ranking and it gave me more difficult opponents. Anyways there's nothing i can do but it's remarkable.
