Anakin basic hits for around 3500 and crits for 5k+, however his AoE does on average 2200 per hit and 3k on crits. In this instance the AoE did 10k damage which trumps even the 5k crits. It's not really worth trying to time it right just to get Attack up when the fight ends much earlier than being able to do that.
