Is Fulcrum Ahsoka viable?

I don't think defense is irrelevant completely.

When I run even something like ZZDN, ZThrawn, ZR2 and Chaze, I hold much better than when I leave something like a Wiggs + ZFulcrum + Chaze team.

On offense, ZFulcrum is a monster for sure, but when I face teams with her, I target her quickly. Even my ZThrawn/DT/TFP/Shore/ZZDN comp can take down a ZFulcrum team in arena and hold well.

I still think she has potential though. She's definitely fun to use and I don't regret using a zeta on her for sure.

I've heard she's terribly underwhelming. Once she's more accessible, we'll have a better idea.

Depends on who you're fighting. I've had Rex, Empire, Chaze you name it teams smoke her. At the very highest levels, she is not close to OP in arena if you try to play D. On offense, sure, on a team like yours it can be quite useful, but she is easily silenced on D

This isn't quite true. With my current team (Rex GK DN R2 Thrawn) I fall no farther than 25 or so, and even that is rare. When I ran ATF in my team (various combinations) I fell to 50. That's a huge difference, and makes your payout more difficult.

I agree defense isn't as important as offense in arena (mostly because the AI is ****), you do need to pay attention to it a little if you don't want to do a 2 hour arena run every day.

Yesterday I held 20th place, which is unheard of, and today I had fallen to 40-45 as usual. The reason you're falling is not because Ahsoka is bad, it's because there is a toon that is better on defense than her. The team you mentioned is easily in the current top 5 teams. Just because she isn't well suited in double/triple cleanse, it doesn't mean she is completely useless. People just don't explore enough. Once somebody finds out her most viable team and posts it, everyone is going to start spamming how op she is, just as it happens with the majority of toons.

I'm not saying she is useless, just saying that defense isn't a non-factor, as that dictates how you play your payout. If you're falling to 40-45 every day you aren't making a run at the top 5, but if you stay in the top 30, you can (leader board dependent, of course).

But, in trying to prove your point you prove just how balanced she is: she can only be considered "OP" in an appropriate team. By definition, that means she can never be OP, because she relies on others to be serviceable.

I've only used her in GW and I'm far from a top player, but outside of her needing to be in a multiple different buff heavy squad, it's seems she either needs to be the fastest toon so she can get she spread protection up right off the bat, or she needs to be one of the slower toons, so there's buffs already on allies that she can then use meditate and whirlwind on her first turn and basically OSK a toon (assuming she's strong enough) I'm a little surprised I don't see more people using her with Yoda as his buff copying seems perfect, but then that relies on the opposition having a lot of non-unique Buffs.

That's the main reason why I don't use her in arena even though I maxed her out on day 1. It's because while she's by no means a wet noodle, it's her reliance on others' buffs to make her whirlwind truly useful that's been the hurdle. She doesn't plug and play nearly as well as a GK, DN or Thrawn. Even toons like DT I found more useful.

Yeah if that comp is modded with great speed, it's definitely formidable (but of course not invincible) on defense. You can always play around an use a Thrawn lead and replace R2 with shore but R2 does give a nice boost to Fulcrum .. but if you do run her def zeta her
