Is GK OP?
For the record I don't think he is considering how difficult it is to obtain him, but I'd like to know what the majority of the players think that have fought against GK

TBH I can't wait for the zetas to be dropped on GK and he has space for 2. GK is pretty solid toon and will make any team stronger for being there.
Yeah that's kind of the definition of OP. It's the same argument for blanket leader abilities being OP. For example the evasion meta was largely due to Old Ben's leader applying to everybody regardless of synergy. That's my point with this thread. If a toon can be slotted into nearly every squad comp without any penalties, they why is that different than the evasion meta of Old that everybody complained about being OP.
Nope not at all GK is fine....tough to get toon who is tough and will get tougher in the right company. Do you have GK OP?
OP in the context of being over-powered? Not so much GK can certainly be beaten and has specific weaknesses and frankly it's easy to do.

I agree - he's got the Star Wars cred and lore to deserve a great kit.
As much as I enjoyed Rogue 1 and Episode IV ... role players like Chaze and Wiggs being able to demolish guys like Vader like they are tissue paper is really hard to wrap my head around. Even someone more obscure like DN at least has the lore within their space to justify their kits.

Maybe GK can appear to be OP to some players because he is usually on a really good high level team?

Eh, not really. Back to my previous point, he can be thrown into literally any squad comp and instantly make them more viable. Regardless of level

He's not OP in my opinion, but if anyone deserves to be OP, it is General Kenobi. Characters that do not deserve to be OP are Nihilus (who is neither canon nor well known) and Chaze (who were supporting roles in a Star Wars spin-off).

He's op but because he's so hard to get he should be op
Forgive me in advance @Shadeslayer7 but this is my favorite point to troll. I have 2 points to add to this. #1: if this is true, whats up Raid Han? (can we just stary calling him Radon?)
#2: I dont think the presence of any OP toons is good for a balanced game. I think the devs are trying their best to make all toons useful in various phases with these faction passes.
#3: What is an OP toon? With the disparity of usefulness in toons like Hoth Rebel Soldier, CUP, Nightsight Acolyte on the bottom to ewok scout, old daka, and geo soldier in the middle to Sthan, zylo, savage on top and nihilus, r2, thrawn, rex on the elite level, how do we measure OP? Factors like usefulness, difficulty of farm, kit are considered. I think if a toon is useful 10/10, has a great kit 10/10 and is difficulty to farm is 1/10, the toon is OP. Rex fits this catagory. Chaze fits this catagory also. Chaze difficulty to farm is about an 8 (due to chirrut in shipments now). However, their usefulness is 15/10 and kit is 30/10 = OP. I think r2 is an excellent example of a GREAT toon. he requires a full faction to farm 10/10, hes useful, not everywhere but in vast areas, and a very well balanced kit. GK, i still consider him slightylu OP due to his kit of 20/10, 30/10 difficulty to farm, and usefulness of 10/10.
its not a scientitic system i know lol
