Is it possible to cheat on Defence in Championships?

Ever since seeing the kerfuffle some months ago about cheating and people being banned, I'm afraid my suspicious nature has got my looking suspiciously at every odd result or happening in PvP in game....

There are some teams which have surprisingly high rate of underestimation. Ewoks are one of such team. Especially if they suddenly have good mods. My G11-12 Ewoks STILL can sometimes (albeit very rarely) hold the defense battle in the first line in the Div1. It's nice to open GA and see that someone lost 20 banners to murderbears... again.
