You gotta ask yourself... "Do I want Darth Traya?" If yes, then you MUST have JTR, because otherwise most guilds won't accept you without helping beating P1 on Heroic Sith Raid.
Not to mention Rey, BB8, R2 combined can do some nasty damage on other areas of the game.
