Is Phoenix Good?

Yes they are good. They are very good in Tb and can easily 6/6 any battle when they are geared. They are pretty good in TW in later phases because all their passive healing puts a tear on your toons at the end of TW.
They absolutely destroy NS teams; NS teams can’t even put a tick of damage in Phoenix because of their uniques, without Ezra!

Obviously for arena there are better teams because it’s pretty easy to take out a Phoenix squad with manual play and any mix of A class characters

For Thrawn and TB/TW

I run phoenix with Sabine and chopper. If you watch the cartoon, that is the OG phoenix. Ezra was the last member to join. I use Ezra with a Jedi team.

Phoenix Example:
Hera, Sabine, chopper, zeb, and Kanan.

Jedi example: GK, Barris, Ezra, etc, etc.

Adding sabine makes phoenix both fun and competitive, the problem is her snail pace of a farm compared to the rest of the squad. People will say they fall off in the high end arena but that's 100% false, with sabine, gear and Zetas they are very competitive for a f2p and easily farmed squad.

My longest has been 45 minutes phoenix vs phoenix node 12 gw. Level 65 against level 80. That was phoenix with no Sabine though.

Well, I use them on defense, so however long it takes the opponent in TW.

They are excellent on D in TW.

Yes, absolutely. The sooner you start Phoenix the better off you will be, because of Thrawn and LSTB entirely skipping them isn't an option.

Don't go all in on Wedge & Biggs at lv 70 just for Arena, by the time you star them up and gear them your shard will be filled with CLS leads and you'll be right back where you started. Get them both after Phoenix though, as Biggs' ship is amazing and Wedge is practically required for Chimaera.
