Sure. Clearing buzz droids is always a good idea. Bring him in as your first rein.
so in malevo mirrors?
Yes, that's when you'll want a cleanser. You don't need him when you are fighting Negotiators. He is a handy RI to have around in general though and doesn't need much gear for that role.- Sure. Clearing buzz droids is always a good idea. Bring him in as your first rein.
- yes, but spy is the best first RI ftmp

I run Vulture, Hyena, Sun Fac in my starting lineup. Depending if I face another Mal or Neg, I bring in Han’s Falcon or IG-1000 first, respectively. Falcon makes the battle essentially a war of attrition, and then bring in Spy second to try to force taunt their inevitable Falcon and take it down. Against Neg the IG-1000 helps Hyena survive better, unless you get Hit with heal block on which unfortunately happens fairly frequently. Plus IG-1000 has another stun you can use against them. Plo would be a good cleanse though, however I find that buzz droids don’t last all that long to worry TOO much about them. Mal’s Overcharge ability clears them fairly well. The big issue with Mal v Mal is that pretty much everyone has the exact same speed, so it comes down to a coin flip at the beginning."Hiittsmetom;c-2164376" wrote:

In most battles just Spy and HMF is sufficient. You can still add Plo (cleanse) and/or Ebon Hawk/Cassian (dispell) to the line up just in case. Especially Ebon Hawk is a great RI to directly counter your opponents HMF that he just reinforced.
For arena JKA's Eta is a great addition to handle HT and save you some time.- MasterSeedyRising VeteranFor the original question, Plo is a good reinforcement in literally any fleet. If he can save 2 or 3 of your faction ships, that's better than reinforcing with one faction ship, especially since you're just replacing your 7th choice faction ship and only use him when his cleanse & heal are going to be beneficial. Then have him throw taunt on himself and that prevents a bit more damage ... more than worth it.
The big issue with Mal v Mal is that pretty much everyone has the exact same speed, so it comes down to a coin flip at the beginning.
In arena I just swap back and forth, attack Mal with Nego & vice versa so I don't have to fight mirror matches. It's a little more complicated in GAC where you have to guess what they're saving on D, but not a lot. "MasterSeedy;c-2164476" wrote:

I don’t have Negotiator, so I’m stuck with mirror matches. I still win 99% of them, however, despite the coin flip. The flip really only applies until Vultures start going down, anyway, which is only 2 or 3 rounds.- There is no fleet that Plo Koon is not an excellent reinforcement.
