Is potency over 100% pointless?
As the title states. I have several characters with ~110% potency. Is that 10% completely wasted? I wouldn't think potency could go higher than 100

Absolutely not. Over 100% potency is preferable to debuff reliant characters. In the end your adjusted potency after calculations will always be lower than 100%
If you can be over 100% over their tenacity that would be even better, but that’s realistically impossible. 115% potency is 100% debuff land rate after the first roll if the enemy has 0 tenacity.
Go up as the enemies tenacity goes up.
