I would wait for some reports on Brood before I committed, but the good thing is your Geos are pretty close, Brood would give you a GTB team, and SHOULD get you ready for Padme too. So would knock out 3 things at once. I also think you may luck into some GR reworks so your Jedi might become a little more viable. No idea if Brood would be any good at arena or GA though.
But the Sad truth is that I dont see how the two Revans can be skipped. They will always be viable. You could do DR first because he can be used in Geo TB, GA and arena.
You could go all in on GG and Sep teams and GG is pretty monsterous right now it seems.
Game is about choices. Just have to make one.
Reading tea leaves, by the time you have either Revan ready they won't be meta anymore. You could top off your Geos, get Padme, get a couple of good teams out of it and then stockpile gear and get ready for the next Meta (whatever that may be ::cough:: Jedi Luke ::cough::).
But Ive been dead wrong before, as my Sith Ships can attest. ;)
I was way behind in the game because I was in a guild with just my brother for the first year. I just decided (because I didn't have a choice) to skip 2 arena metas and build some base teams and stockpile. It wasn't easy but when EP rework hit I just happened to be ready and pecked my way up to top 100 with my 4* Sion and 3* Nihilus.
The way the game is strucured now, you don't have to have all of the teams. Each meta is basically 2 or 4 new toons + some rework. So you can just step into the next meta if you focus. We have a guy with like 1.5M-ish GP that got DR the first time and has been at the top in Arena since.
Good luck!
EDIT: No matter what, farm mods always. No matter the meta they are always a good investment.
