Other times you get more than 3 shards. That's how randomness works.

Players that track the data show a 33% drop rate, you can collect your data too and see where you end up. You will probably feel like its lower than it actually is.

Sorry, not even close. I ran it 4 times today (spending crystals on CDs and energy). Got only 1 shard out of it. Screw it.
