I started playing just a few days ago and I'm glad I came across this. Helped me a great deal so far. I haven't yet opened all the play options (only level 34) but have already accumulated a fair amount of resource as F2P player.
Bought one shard pack before I read this so no big lose. Bought a few Ally Point packs and got lucky with Ima-Gun Di pull and an Ewok Elder. So now I have my first goal of creating a Jedi team. So far my leveling had been very smooth and painful and have climbed to rank 500'sh very easily. I'd be higher but you only get so many plays and I'm not yet willing to spend crystals to refresh here when they could be better spent elsewhere, at the moment.
