Jawa engineer in Grievous team?

hello, my „droid-friend“!

had the same idea and geared my little jawa to gear 12+3

but my general need the two gear12+ pieces, then i‘ll try it in the arena.

with his bonus +50 speed JE will go first and bring also a higher critical damage chance.

i use grievous/tm3/jawa engineer in 3v3 grand arena and they work well.

with the second zeta on grievous and the possibility to revive a droid, the jawa can be very dangerous.

definitively an interesting alternative to bb8 in my eyes.

@jedibaer71 thank you very much for responding. I was worried people would say it wouldn’t work (for some reason or another), but glad to hear someone has actually tried it. With the mods I have, Jawa engineer doesn’t even have to have gear 12+ for me to bump him well over 300 speed with his unique as well. I’m assuming maybe in a full 5 slot team you’ll need a taunt though unless of course you go against revan.

only raid han is faster or a full droid-team with bb8.

in a separatist droid team magnaguard can taunt, but a focus on the jawa and not on general grievous can also be deadly.

unfortunately the good leader ability of hk-47 (in my eyes one of the best leader abilities in swgoh) isn‘t any longer.

perhaps some hybrid -teams sep.droids/droids/jawa will work. if not on the arena, perhaps as a „surprise“ in grand arena or even territory war.

that‘s why i geared my chief nebit, too.
(please don‘t tell my officers, they wouldn‘t be very amused... ;-)

hmmm, on the other hand, if nebit calls grievous with his desert ambush... could be funny...

Consider BB8 AND Java Engineer. JE should go last, and provide another round for droids with his bonuses.

Combine this with T3 for Darth Revan and basically they are dead. Don't have that good JE yet, so I can't provide proof of concept, but it should be fun.

Like GG, IG88, BB8, T3, JE. T3 dispells, GG AOEs, IG88 AOE's (providing bonus TM through GG lead if anyone have TL and they should have), JE gives bonusses, than they have another go with plenty of debuffs, so easily GG and IG88 can kill two toons. So fastilla is killed by IG88, and DR by GGs skitteing horror easily. And now you are 5 against 3. I'm just not sure that they will go for another round before anyone moves.

I think GG, IG88, JE, BB8, and R2 would be fun to try. Mod R2 with crazy health so that his unique will give great health. This will give Grievous more damage, and improve IG88's resilience since he is so squishy. R2's unique will also give some nice protection. The droids will need this extra health pool because JE isnt droid, so BB8 will not taunt. I think you want turn order to be R2, GG, IG88, BB8, JE. This is because R2 can clear foresight. Then GG gives more debuffs. Then IG88 annihilates everyone because of the debuffs, then BB8 goes, then JE helps out.

Note: this is just an idea, I don't know if it works.
Droids need a reliable taunter so that that can survive. Maybe crab droid or Dwarf Spider droid will come to the game at some point.
