JE almost unlocked

I hope not since I will be using him for arena but people have been saying nerfs are inevitable for multiple characters and we haven't seen anything done with those characters. I'm going to say no even though there will always be a small part of the player base that will cry for a nerf.

yeahh I think it might bring back the droids. But not break them. See you need hk, 88, 86, and engineer lets say. You only have 1 slot for either poggle or a taunt(not both). I think thats where its gonna break them even.

It will likely make the droids the best team in the game but I can still see certain teams beating them. As long as a team/character has a counter, I don't think there should be a nerf.

It is clear that droids will be an off again on again answer to p2p for cheapskates

The crit up is meh. 86 and 88 already have crit chance through the roof with an HK lead and their own abilities. This doesn't help a Droid team that much, IMO.

The major improvement is speed, so that 86 or 88 will be difficult to take out before POE/POGGLE act. But JE doesn't have a taunt. So he's not all that. Poggle O Up is way better than crit up. Poe taunt + expose (negative status effect for 88) is better than crit up. JE is a compromise. I'm actually disappointed and I don't think he will be a game changer.

I'd really have to see how he plays out. I like that there will be increased variety in droid teams. There are already a few useful combos. With JE, there will be more than half a dozen special purpose droid teams, I imagine.

I think JE will be useful with Poe or RG, in place of Poggle. This means the droids will have increased survivability but do less DPS. And it will make JE's revive potentially come into play.

JE is actually much easier to gear up than the other new character. He needs only one piece of unobtanium to get to 10 4/6, while the guard needs 3 pieces just to get to gear 10.
Unfortunate for me since it's the guard I want...

CG might as well shelve any toon additions for the foreseeable future. They have made it unreasonably long to min/max a single toon and unreasonably expensive for most of the player base to change tracks.

Any thought of farming JE has been indefinitely put on hold since the toon wouldn't be usable anytime soon.

Unobtainable gate? Check.
Omega gate? Check.
Credit gate? Check.

Everyone gets nerfed eventually.

He is looking crazy strong. He's the dream character for many droid teams, and would actually make droid teams a lot stronger on defence. I usually just jump from droid team to droid team in arena because their speed is garbage, and I can usually pick 86 and/ or 88 off before they get a go.

I think a nerf will be a slap in the face to droid players. A strong counter would be RG, so I doubt the droids would be able to do too much craziness on defence, so I'd have to see how he plays before judging.

Lucky droid teams, though.
