It doesn't only cater to the top 1%. One could argue that the fact that the meta has been very open and diverse for the past several months is, in fact, proof that it doesn't.
Many would argue (and rightfully so), that the game has to cater to the top 1%, at least some of the time. Whether that 1% are spenders or not (hint: there are 8+ million GP players that are f2p and always have been).
I agree with your comment. I don't know why you think I don't. I just said that I understand why someone like DarjeloSalas wouldn't enjoy RPS. But the rest of us average players (probably) prefer RPS that we currently have. Sometimes catering to the top 1% is also fine.
