Biggs is one of the best ships, especially early on. Since you're farming the character already, farm his ship too.
Imperial Tie Fighter is another great ship for all capital ships, but he's even better with Executrix. That's a ship you're going to want upgraded.
Whatever you do, don't get seduced by all the character shards in the store. Upgrade the ships as well or you'll really start to fall behind in the fleet arena.
