Kit Fisto Viability?

You don't understand how potency works.

For arena, minimum resist chance is 15%. Your resist chance is calculated as Attacker's Potency - Defender's Tenacity, minimum 15%. So if you look at most arena toons, they're going to have 30-40% Tenacity.

Let's look at the aforementioned EP. His *base* Potency is 47%. That means, in order to increase their resist chance above the minimum 15%, a defender would have to have 62% Tenacity, and that would give them a resist chance of 16% instead of 15%. Since that's an absurdly bad deal no one does it, and everyone is prioritizing speed and crit/crit damage anyways.

Also, this is a very dispel/buff immunity heavy meta. B2, Baze, TFP, JKA, QGJ, etc all would screw up the chances of Potency Up staying on for any meaningful amount of time.

The tl;dr of it is that most characters have enough natural potency that they don't need potency up in *arena*. Raids are a different story.

But correct, Kit Fisto just isn't good anymore.
