I'd be thrilled to, if you had any "legit criticism." But you don't. All you have is the standard "if you don't agree with me you're wrong" grandstanding.
And I never doubted that many people shared your opinion. The thing about opinions is that they don't magically become correct just because a lot of people share them.
The character was possible to obtain without spending, and they never said he wasn't going to cost GET to get to seven stars. If anything, that should've been expected since they repeatedly referred to the event as a "Malak-type release." Would I prefer it if they were a bit more transparent about new releases? Sure. But they never have been, and there was no reason to expect them to suddenly start doing so now.
You're certainly welcome to stop spending if that makes you feel better, just don't expect anyone to hail you as a hero for it.
