Level 43 Newbie... What toons to build?
Hi all, I just started playing last week and I am hooked on this game! I have been reading beginners guides to see what characters I should go after first but I think the guides are all outdated......

Which toons to farm? All of them. You'll always have a meta team if you have all of the toons.
Seriously though, the priority should be farm for arena, GW, raids, heists, mod challenges, and then ships. I focus on that order because arena gives you crystals and GW gives you credits until you can get to the heists. Raids will get you gear to improve your toons.
Focus on toons that cross barriers. Lando, STH, and Han are all rebels and scoundrels. Lando and STH are easy farms. I took Lando from 2 to 7* in 8 days for the EP event. 88 is both a scoundrel and droid.
Wiggs is a good combo for arena right now, along with both raids. That's two more rebels for your team. You won't get Han until you're t7 rancor capable. Until then, go after AA for rebels, mod challenges, and ships.
Toons like Chirpa are it toons for AAT raids but if you don't have EP then he's worthless. Plus, you could be farming all sorts of other good toons before then. Phasma and Teebo used to be pretty amazing in GW shipments but Cad Bane, another easy scoundrel to farm, and Biggs can be found there, too. Make your choice and stick with it. Focus on one toon in each area until they are 7* and then move on.
If you're ftp, stay away from chromiums. If you're willing to drop 3k for one toon you're looking for then by all means, go chromium fishing.
If you need any help with GW let me know. Until you're maxing out your credit heist, it's the single most important credit income. Just pm me.
