Level 43 Newbie... What toons to build?

Hmm... I'm not on here too much, if you're looking for a temporary guild untill you level enough to get into one of the big guilds, let me know, and Ill be able to go into detail in guild chat, just let me know.

Lando 4* (leader)
Wedge 4*
Biggs 5*
Rey 4*
Barriss 4*

Bench: ST Han 5* / Kylo 4* / QGJ 4*

Is Lando or Wedge a better leader? And do I sub ST Han in for anyone? And is Kylo not that good of a toon? He doesn't seem to hit very hard.

Kylo is bad. Don't farm. Finish Wedge in Cantina battles, Biggs in Galactic War. Use Cantina tokens on QGJ until he is 7*.

Mods aren't critical for you yet. Get your toons to 7* first.

Boba and QGJ are both good picks as a Cantina starters. IG88 or StHan are both good from arena. If you ever have a this toon or that toon question, ask here and you'll get ample direction.

Basically long story short you want to build a team with best synergies. For example-

Rebel Team - Wedge and Biggs because they both get the same buffs and are commonly referred to as the "Danger Zone" team. Team them up with other rebels like leia and lando and you've got the makings of a potentially ruthless team. Also you will need a top rebel team to get Emperor palpatine. Which brings on the next team choice; Empire

Empire Team - Recently empire teams have become way more common as palpatine is the best leader for them in the game. He gives all empire allies turn meter for each negative buff on the enemy. DV's force crush applies DOT (Also speed down when omega'd) and he applies ability block with his basic. He will gain full turn meter as he applies this to ALL enemies which is why he should be there. Once done use culling blade to one shot a toon and then you go again with the basic. He attacks up to THREE times due to this. Royal Guard is one of the top tanks in the game and he can inflict speed down and stun lock. Also gives empire allies increased health and defense on special ability. TFP because he hits like a truck and can apply buff immunity like palp's shock. Shoretrooper (If available) if not then put in boba fett (because of rework)

Droid Team - This team has been the cancer of GoH for sometime now and tbh; i can see why. I have a mediocre droid team to help with GW and it was one of the best decisions i ever made on this game. It consists of -
HK47(Leader)
IG88
IG86
B2 Battledroid
Jawa Engineer

REMEMBER! These are only examples

One tip i will suggest is that make sure to gear up your toons as it is more important than Getting one to 7* There are a bunch of people running a 4 or 5 star Shoretrooper best gear and he works out just fine. So you have to keep your Main squad geared up and you should only focus on 5 toons cause trying to get more will just eat your resources and credits up. I know from first hand experience before i found the forums.

Also what do u want to spend on this game and what is the goal u want to achieve? If you want to top arena you need to chase the meta teams in arena. Raids are different set up than arena. If you just want to collect your favs and have fun not being competitive then u can do that too. Remember it is just a game so how you want to have fun is up to you.

Truth. I just figured this out. I didn't realize you could farm for gear. Now the game is much easier that I have a few purple gear toons.

Real talk, you're in an early enough stage. If you're on Android, follow the advices above. If you're on IOS, just find a different game or start over on an Android.

IMO all FTP players should farm DROIDS, they are still viable in high level arenas and can be easily farmed. I'm a level 85 baby whale with several maxed out toons and droids are in my top 10 arena shard daily.

Forget Rey she is no where to be found in my arena, focus on Jawa Engineer in guild store.

Farm HK-47/IG-88/Chief Nebit arena store, IG-86 galactic war and JE guild store. Once you unlock cantina 6-D immediate start farming B2 and replace Nebit.
