Low Star GAS or SEE

I'm currently at a crossroads. I have been working towards GAS (all toons will be starred in a couple weeks, Endurance is still 2 months away), but won't have enough GET1 to get him to 7 stars for about 3-4 months.

Alternatively, I can shift focus to a GL. I have the most progress towards SEE. Unless the next batches of requirements become prohibitive (I'm looking at you JKL) then this will be my first GL.

I'm curious about what people's thoughts are about the value of 5* GAS? It would also come with the side effect of a good droid team (as opposed to the random characters required for SEE).

My primary goals are in GAC and Arena.

Thanks for any feedback you all have!

  • I think you are much further from a GL than you think. Your Krennic and RG still need some work. Krennic especially is a single hard node farm. Rest assured, once the other requirements are released, we'll see a lot of other toons required at Relic 3 that you are probably far from.

We don't know what SEE's synergies will be yet...if it's just sith you might be ok, but if it's Empire or First Order, you aren't in great shape for a supporting team. Your clones for Anakin, on the other hand, are pretty good. And you are nearly there on the requirements except for some gear on Seps.

If you are two months away on a ship, you'll have enough to 6* right after unlock. Keep a laser focus on the requirements, don't spend GET on anything else. I disagree with the above that he won't help you in arena. If your shard is young enough that can get top ranks with DRevan, GAS will help you in arena unless everyone else is close to SLKR or Rey (which you are not). I do agree with the above, however, that you don't want the GP bloat until you have a more well rounded roster, and GAS will be good for GP.

Don't lose focus by looking at the shinies. They will be there when you get there. Keep going hard for GAS, and after you max that team, switch to focus on a GL if that's what you want.
  • Thanks for all the feedback. I completely understand the advice to stick with GAS. So far in this game I've followed this type of advice and ended up with a well-rounded roster.

However, this time I'm going a different direction. My arena has close to 50 GLs at this point and I find myself climbing through a sea of SLKRs each day. Once I get Wat in a month I will be able to go through the Rey teams as well. I see those with GAS struggling just as much as I do and falling just as far each day.

Also, I'm actually excited about getting SEE. I might as well go after what I'm excited about. I may take a hit in GAC for a bit, but I'm OK with that. I will just have to think bit harder with each match-up.

Time to relic Royal Guard (YAY!).
