Malak bonus TM removal

I know this is only supposed to be for Sith teams. But I feel like Malak is removing the starting tm boost from Bastilla's jedi lead. She gives a 15% tm boost. My Revan was my fastest unit one round at 287 speed, however my opponents ds/bastilla went before him with only 292 speed. That just doesn't seem right to me, that 5 speed can close a 15% gap? That is why I suspect that Malak is interfering with Bastilla's tm boost.

Anybody else notice this? Or any mathematicians know if this makes sense?

  • Is it not more likely that HK-47's "Loyal to the Maker" is preventing the bonus TM at the start due to them having protection up?

Also, I assume you mean the opposing BSF has 292 speed, not 192.

    I fixed it thanks
  • Glad that's sorted.

To answer your earlier question, without the TM prevention from HK-47 their BSF wouldn't be fast enough to outspeed your Revan with 15% starting TM. He would have an effective starting speed of 337.6.

    Wow, nice "quick math!"

I see what you did there. For future reference you take the speed of the character and divide it by the percentage TM they need to fill the bar as a decimal. In this case JKR requires 85% of the TM bar to take a turn after the 15% from Bastila's lead, so that's 0.85.

287 / 0.85 = 337.6 = effective starting speed. This is only for the first round of attacks, and characters take turns based on there speed after the opening round. There are other equations out there to work out the same thing, but this is the simplest.
