this isnt a joke or analogy, it happens all the time, just replace race with socioeconomic backgrounds. If i'm a high spender at a bar/club/casino, i can get my own private room with custom drinks that the regular joe schmoe cant afford. and im sure if you look hard enough in the US, you'll find bars that have this policy with race.
