I definitely understand your pain. if you can't afford to farm k2 from the shard shop that farm him immediately once CG places him in cantina (or wherever).
K2 is def a neccesary toon to stay competitive in arena and GW for droid teams with hk (L), 88, b2, and JE. With k2, i'm able to stay in the top 10 and duke it out with wiggs teams, ani leads, rex/5s combos, even other b2s, thanks to daze. k2b2 combo is devastating.
but there will always be a new meta to catch and sadly due to this game's mechanics, those who pay get the satisfaction of catching the new meta
