Hi all, So, per the title, my turn to ask for arena guidance from the gurus-of-the-forums :)My swgoh.gg username is moltrindiceniMy current arena squad is Wedge (L), Biggs, STH, Chirut and Ezra... which generally keeps be above 200, but no higherWith my now having RHan at 5*, and Thrawn & zR2 at 7*, is it time for a change? I’d love to be able to compete with the Chaze, zMaul and CLS squads, at least compete for top 100. I have two zetas ready to go, and some cash/droids to invest in leveling, if needed.Any guidance is humbly appreciated!With thanksMoltrin

Others may disagree but wedge lead is still somewhat viable. It may not get you to the very top but still possibly top 50 if your gear is high enough. Wedge, Biggs, thrawn, Raid Han, and r2 may boost you up on offense if you keep grinding for gear. I’ve tried chirrut without baze and it just didn’t work well for me.

In my shard Wedge lead is sometimes top40-50. One or two. But not higher. Without Cls wedge biggs wont do much even with thrawn han and r2 against cls teams. The key for rebels is Cls.

Outside of my current structure, do you guys see any potential teams in (or near) my roster that might be effective?

When you mod your 5 toons, how much bonus speed is each getting?I think you should trade chirrut for raid han and zeta him, and lose sth for r2, then test thrawn and ezra switching to see who you like as your 5thThe reason i ask about your mods is because you want 70-80 bonus speed per character for top 50 on an old shard or 40-60 on a newer shard, and to fight for the top you should aim for 90+

The reason i ask about your mods is because you want 70-80 bonus speed per character for top 50 on an old shard or 40-60 on a newer shard, and to fight for the top you should aim for 90+

You’re gonna need r2 to deal with zaul. If you don’t have crazy speed mods, you will lose to faster wiggs teams. I’d recommend dropping Ezra and chirrut for r2 and thrawn for now. Until you get cls or gk+zarriss. Rex can ride you over till then too. Good luck!

Sounds like I'm in the same boat except most of the way to what people are already suggesting. I'm running Wiggs/Leia/R2/Raid Han, zetas on Number Crunch and Han. I should be ready for unlocking Thrawn at 5* tomorrow, sounds like replacing Leia with Thrawn would be a good step forward?

Have also thought about replacing Leia with Baze.

Re mods for speed, my arena team has 40-50 right now... but I think with some aggressive cannibalization I should be able to improve such

And I’m going to have a play with bringing in Thrawn, zRHan and R2...

Seadrg, at the risk of asking something obvious... what does R2 do to help vs Zaul teams?

I was wondering that too. I avoid Zaul like the plague because of all the changing stealths, not sure what R2 would do for that.

Looking at your Biggs, you definitely want him faster. You've got the 30 speed arrow but very few speed secondaries on your other mods. I've just gotten mine over 190 and that's higher than most of the Biggs in my arena range (200-400 place, same as you).

When I'm targeting teams, a 150 Biggs is an easy mark if there's no Chaze combo protecting him.

Also I just noticed you've got a some G10 and G9 characters, but somehow your Wiggs are both only Gear 8. Definitely need to improve that.
