We have an almost daily conversation about fleets and we have recently got yet another player crack the top with very simple instructions. By the way, these guys getting top fleet rankings haven't had to sacrifice all their Phoenix farming or squad arena progression to become competitive in fleets. Actually, fleet progression is feeding them with hundreds of crystals that we all later use to farm Phoenix toons in cantina ;)
Also, they didn't need to spend their scarce resources building a super powerful 5-man scoundrel team for the heists. Using the cheapo scoundrel team setup I suggested, with minor variations based on their circumstances, they are doing fine.
