You’re either new, in denial, or just trying to be edgy if you think it’s always been like this. Traya had plenty of counters and she was slowly tapered into arena on account of it being a slow paced raid reward. By the time everyone had her, we were also introduced to Chewbacca which revitalized Rebels. Revan came a month later but only a handful of people had him so the soft counters were effective enough and the plethora of other teams still operated as usual. C3PO was also later introduced.
Arena was filled with Rebels, Nightsisters (Talzin and Ventress), Sith (Traya and Palp), Bastila-led Jedi, the oddball Jango-led Bounty Hunters, Resistance (JTR and Finn) and a few Revans.
Now it’s almost entirely Revan-led Jedi, and almost entirely the same 5 Jedi. Separatist droids did not change that.
To make matters worse, there hasn’t been new content in over a year. Just Grand Arena, which is a hybrid of Arena and Territory Wars—in other words, another location for Revan to do more of the same Revan stuff. Where are the new raids? Mythic versions of old raids? New TB? New planets with different territory layouts in TW? Entirely new game modes outside of raids/TB/TW? It’s been 18 months since we’ve gotten a new capital ship, and ships in general have barely been touched on. Give us a ship raid or something. Give us game modes that don’t require arena power creeps, new places to use the 150+ other characters in the game.
Like, what are you developers doing with all of that Revan cash? It doesn’t seem that it’s being funneled back into game. Or maybe it is, but the devs barely interact and communicate with the playerbase anymore. This game is stale and reeks of corporate greed.
Disney and EA sure know how to abuse this franchise, it’s unreal.
