My guild doesn't even use the in game chat. It's terrible. We use "slack" and it's been amazing. Has turned our guild into more of a community than just about a game. Really great app for guild communication.
You're able to create multiple channels for specific conversations such as: General game chat, mods, arena strategies, GW, rancor raid etc...
You can snooze your notifications or set them how you want and even for specific channels. Been the best app my guild has come across by far.
