Thinking about the squad he wants at level 85 isn't a bad idea though. For example, JC and Lumi are great to have decently geared and fully starred in order to unlock Yoda, if Jedi are your persuasion. They are both killer mid-game GW characters. If you prefer Sith, then as stated a rebel squad to get through the light side battles and unlock Emperor Palp would be good.
