I am just going to throw this into the discussion to confuse the issue because I'm mean like that:
HK-47 (L), IG-88, IG-86, Chief Nebit/B2, and Jawa Engineer are still extremely effective at clearing the GW table. I just did it this morning out of curiosity.
But here's the real spicy meatball: they are also an effective (but not META) squad against the P2 HAAT raid. There was a time when droids were the P2 go-to, before the rise of zFinn Resistance, and now others.
They are awful in arena these days, though.
